Who We Are

Company owner Steve McKee has been a General Contractor in the Charlotte, NC area for over 18 years. 

QRS holds a General Contractor License with Steve as the qualifying individual. Our  license is unlimited – the highest level of General Contractor licensing in North Carolina.

Steve is also certified in Passive House construction by both the original German Passive House Institute and Passive House Institute US (PHIUS). This double certification shows Steve's commitment to the environmentally friendly concepts used in this building technique.

Steve is also a certified instructor in NC for the NCDOI (North Carolina Department of Insurance) and is licensed to teach Continuing Education in Ethics, Fraud, and other courses to insurance agents and adjusters.
